Understanding the Scene Library
What is a Scene?
A scene is a design of a virtual space in SchoolSpace. A scene can be a full layout of a world or smaller portions of a design that can be used as building blocks to create a world. Think of it like a decorated classroom, playground, or game zone - all ready for you to use. Instead of starting from scratch, you can use one of our ready-made scenes to quickly get your space set up.
Scenes are the easiest way to start if you're new to SchoolSpace or just want something beautiful and functional right away.
To add a scene you will need to be a world Editor, Designer, Manager, or Owner.
Understanding the Scene Library
Scenes in the Scene Library are organized with Categories and Tags, so you can quickly narrow down your search and find the right scene for your world. In the Scene Library, you can:
-
Browse scenes by category, e.g. Classroom, Campuses, Events, etc.
-
Filter scenes using one or more tags, e.g. All Grades, Music, Math, etc.
-
Search by scene name, description, tags, or size.

Scene Cards
In the Scene Library, each scene is displayed as a Scene card and shows useful information at a glance. From each scene card, you can:
-
Preview a larger version of the scene image.
-
View the scene's description, categories, tags, and size.
-
Quickly add Marketplace scenes to My Scenes.
-
Choose to Drop the scene or replace your zone with it.

Scenes can have up to three categories but unlimited tags. Learn more about saving your world as a scene.
