I'm already in a world and I want to change my avatar or avatar color.
- Refresh the page and choose a different avatar and/or color in the Welcome modal. Then enter the world again to see your new choice.
I want to customize my avatar.
- Before entering a world, choose a customizable avatar (look for an avatar with a blue icon) in the Welcome modal.
- If you're already in a world, refresh the page and choose a customizable avatar (look for an avatar with a blue icon) in the Welcome modal.
- You can choose clothes and accessories when using a customizable avatar.
I want to change my avatar's clothes.
- After entering a world, click Customize Avatar
in the left sidebar. After selecting your choices, click the blue 'Save Avatar' button. - If Customize Avatar is greyed out, refresh the page and choose a customizable avatar (look for an avatar with a blue icon) in the Welcome modal.
My avatar moves too slow. How do I go faster?
- Try using Transportation Mode.
- If you want to quickly find another person, you can instantly teleport to them.
- If you're going to an event or Landmark Zone, you may be able to teleport there. Check This World in the left sidebar.
I see emojis over other avatars and I want my avatar to do that too.
- These are called emotes and can be found by clicking on your avatar. Learn how to use emotes.
I want my avatar to sit or dance.
- You can find these actions by clicking on your avatar. Learn how to make your avatar sit or dance.
Why do I see avatars sitting down with a computer?
- When you're in a SchoolSpace world and minimize your browser or switch to another tab, your avatar changes to 'Away from Keyboard' or 'AFK.' Other people will see your avatar sit down with a computer in it's lap.
- When you maximize the browser or return to the world tab, your avatar will stand up again.
- In most cases you will only see other avatars sit down with a computer.
