Troubleshooting: World Access

I can't enter the world. It says "Come Back Soon."

• The world is currently closed. You will need to come back later when it is open.
• If the world is supposed to be open, an admin can open it for you.

I can't enter the world. It says "This account does not have access to this world."

• Make sure you're signed in with the correct account.
• For students and teachers, the correct account is typically the same as your school login.
• Parents and external community members are typically added to a guestlist and will need to sign in with the same email address they provided to the school for guestlist access.
• If you're still having trouble, ask your SchoolSpace administrator to double check that your account should have access to the world via user attributes or the guestlist. 

I’m getting an authentication error.

• Make sure you're using the correct username and password.
• Make sure you're signed in to the correct account.
• If your login credentials are correct, ask your SchoolSpace administrator for help.

It’s saying that I need to enter a password.

• Ask your SchoolSpace administrator for the password to the world.
• If you are an admin of the world and have accidentally set a password, you can turn it off.

I'm stuck on a loading page after I clicked 'Sign In with SSO.'

• Check to see if you have any parental controls set on your computer or browser. Make sure SchoolSpace.io is allowed in these parental controls.

How do I access SchoolSpace without a school login?

• Most SchoolSpace worlds are only accessible with a school login.
• Some schools use a guestlist to allow people without a school login to enter a world. This is typically used for school events that include parents or other external guests. The event organizer will need your email address in order to add you to the guestlist.
• If you're on a guestlist, follow the steps below:
  
  • Navigate to the SchoolSpace URL shared by your school.
  • Click 'Sign In' and choose 'Sign in with email'
  • Enter your email address. Use the email that is on the guestlist for the world. 
  • Check your email inbox for the verification code. Check your spam folder if you don't see an email from SchoolSpace containing the verification code in your inbox.
  • Copy and paste the verification code into SchoolSpace and click 'Verify Code'
  • Enter your display name. This appears above your avatar in the world. Some display names are preset and cannot be edited.
  • Choose your avatar, camera and microphone input, and choose a video background (optional). 
  • Click 'Enter World'

I'm on a guestlist but I did not get a verification code in my email inbox.

• Check your email spam folder for an email from SchoolSpace. 
• Double check that you're using the correct email address to sign in. The email address you enter after clicking 'Sign in with email' must match the guestlist. If you try to sign in using a different email address, you will not receive an email with the verification code.
• If your email limits who you can receive emails from, you may not be able to receive the verification code. You can ask the event organizer to add a different email address to the guestlist or ask your domain manager to whitelist emails from SchoolSpace.io.
• If you're still having trouble, reach out to the event organizer or your SchoolSpace administrator to confirm that your email address is on the guestlist.
