What is Virtual Field Trip?

Virtual Field Trip is an interactive learning app that lets admins instantly transform a SchoolSpace world into a mini field trip experience. As students explore Virtual Field Trip, they can move around and learn from the destination’s video-based content.

Virtual Field Trip makes it easy to switch locations between classes, support cultural or geography lessons, or simply bring variety into a shared space.

 

 

Using Virtual Field Trip

Everyone can use Virtual Field Trip!

To Use Virtual Field Trip:
  1. Walk into the Virtual Field Trip scene to explore it, watch videos, and see what you find. There are multiple Virtual Field Trip locations!

Virtual Field Trip for Admins

Editors, Designers, Managers, or world Owners can add the Virtual Field Trip app to their world. 

To Add Virtual Field Trip:
  1. Click Scenes scenes in the left sidebar.
  2. Search for 'Virtual Field Trip' in the filter Filter Results search bar. There are multiple versions of Virtual Field Trip for you to choose from!
  3. Hover over the thumbnail image and click Drop Scene drop.
  4. Click an area in the world to drop the Virtual Field Trip app in that location. For the best experience, place the app in an open area with plenty of space.
