Internet Requirements
Recommended Network Speeds:
- Download: 10 Mbps
- Upload: 3 Mbps
Low Bandwidth Mode
If your connection is slower than the recommended speeds, SchoolSpace can still work in Low Bandwidth Mode (as low as 3 Mbps download). Low Bandwidth Mode helps if you're on an older device or you're having trouble seeing other users' videos.
To Use Low Bandwidth Mode:
- If your connection is weak, you’ll see a prompt to turn on Low Bandwidth Mode.
- Low Bandwidth Mode can also be turned on manually:
- In the left sidebar, click Video Settings
.
- Under Mode, select Low Bandwidth.
- In the left sidebar, click Video Settings
- While in Low Bandwidth Mode, your camera will be turned off and you will not see other users' cameras.
