What is Badges App
Badges is an app used to recognize participation, achievements, and positive behaviors within a space. It includes a collection of predefined badges that can be viewed by all users.
Admins have access to award badges to other visitors.
Non-admin users can only view the Badges page, which displays all available badges in a gallery format.
Badges can be used to highlight accomplishments such as teamwork, creativity, leadership, and completing activities.

Using Badges App
Everyone can view all available badges.
To view the Badges:
- Click the Star asset.
- The Badges app will open on the left side of your screen.
- Hover over badges to view their descriptions.
The badges you have earned will be colored in.

Badges App for Admins
Editors, Designers, Managers, or world Owners can add the Badges app to their world. Admins can also award badges to visitors.
To Add Badges App:
- Click Builder Mode
in the left sidebar or press B on your keyboard to enter Builder Mode. - Click Scenes
in the left sidebar. - Search for 'Badges App' in the
Filter Results search bar. - Hover over the thumbnail image and click Drop Scene
.
- Click an area in the world to drop the Badges app in that location.
To Award Badges:

Click the Star asset.

The Badges app will open on the left side of your screen.

Click the Award Badges tab.

In Current Visitors, select a user from the list. You can also use the Search visitors… field to find someone quickly.

In Select a Badge to Award, browse or search for a badge you want to award.

Click the badge you want to award, then click Award Badge.

In the confirmation window:

Review the recipient and badge.

(Optional) Enter a message.
- Click Award Badge to send.

- Once awarded, the selected visitor will receive the badge and a toast notification with the message you wrote.
In Current Visitors, all users currently in the world, including yourself will be listed. The star next to a username means that user is an admin. You can refresh this list by clicking the refresh button. You can also use the Search visitors… field to find someone quickly.
